ENTANGLEMENT
Entanglement confronts the ongoing collision between the natural world and human consumption. Constructed from clay, plaster, melted recycled plastic, and driftwood, the piece embodies the uneasy tension between organic materials and industrial waste. The metallic and orange glaze evoking the urgency of movements like Just Stop Oil. It interweaves with blue string, black plastic, and driftwood, creating an interesting cooperation of vibrancy and destruction. Acting as both a vessel and a provocation, this Gossip Pot ignites dialogue on climate change, consumerism, and the fragile state of our planet.
