New Genesis; A true God

In the garden of Eden, man stood not alone
for Eve had been hiding, her cover now blown
Naked she appeared from behind the apple tree
Adam stiffened, blushed, then dropped on one knee
“ listen mate I am thou sister”
in his ear she gave a whisper
“from your rib I took this form…
same DNA, that will kick up a storm”.
The bloke in the sky gave them a name
human beings, with equality, that was his aim.
In this garden of hope, where love was achieved
man and woman lived as equals…she believed
But I’m sad to say, things didn’t bear well
as greed and patriarchy turned Earth into Hell.
